How long will my tan last?
Some clients report the tan lasting 10 days, however, on average you should expect your Solglo Tan to last 7-9 days, depending on your skin type. To prolong the life of your tan we recommend that you follow the guidelines on skin preparation and maintenance using the Solglo Boosting Products.

How should I prepare for my treatment?
To ensure you get the best results from your treatment you should take the time to prepare your skin.
- Exfoliate your body thoroughly with Solglo Pineapple Exfoliator prior to the tan. This is essential for preparing the skin by removing dead skin cells naturally and gently leaving the skin rejuvenated and smooth in readiness for the Solglo tanning session.
- Ensure that you do not apply moisturiser, deodorant or perfume to the body exfoliation.
- Protect the finger and toenails by using the Solglo Nail Protector this will prevent the nails from discolouring during the tanning session.
- Apply an enhancer the Solglo Tan Enhancer will improve the overall evenness and appearance of the tan.
- All make up is removed
- Remove all jewellery.
- Long hair is tied up.
By following the above simple steps, you will ensure that you are left with a perfect all over tan.
What should I wear for the tanning session?
For your treatment, wear whatever is comfortable for you e.g. thong, string, bikini etc.Ideally wear dark loose clothing following your treatment. Avoid wearing tight or abrasive clothing such as jeans following your treatment as this may cause excessive rubbing and affect your overall results.
How can I prolong my Solglo Tan?
Moisturising your skin regularly with Solglo Bronzing Moisturiser will help slow down the natural exfoliation rate of your skin and prolong the tan. Avoid any activities which may accelerate the exfoliation process, such as:
- Moisturising creams and lotions containing AHA (Alph Hydroxy Acid) sometimes referred to as fruit acids.
- Long hot baths
- Rubbing your skin dry (with a towel) after baths or showers - simply pat the skin dry.
- Too much swimming - Chlorine in particular will bleach the tan.
- Activities, which cause excessive perspiration.
- Tight clothing that may rub excessively.
- Using a loofa or scrub mitt.
- Using toners with alcohol.
- Depilatory hair removing products.
Can I sunbathe using The Solglo Tanning System?
The Solglo Tanning System does not contain any SPF factors; therefore you will need to protect your skin from the harmful rays of the sun in the normal way.
Can you have the treatment when you are pregnant?
Yes, you can.
